Marek Mikulski was born in Wrocław in 1974. As 9 year old boy he began his lessons in classic guitar at Primary Music School in Opole, in Lucyna Janowska`s class.. He continues then at Secondary Music School in Prof. Tadeusz Wybraniec`s class. In 1993 he started his studies at Academy of Music in Wrocław and graduated from it in 1998.

He is a prize-winner of many national and international guitar competitions in Poland, for instance in Gdańsk (1st prize), Kraków (3rd prize), Żory (2nd prize) and many others.

He has released 5 CD records with guitar music:
- Adam i Marek Mikulscy Guitar Duo (in 2000)
- "Miresesesferes" with Mirosław Drożdżowski tunes (In 2002)
- "Dźwiękiem malowane" with Mirosław Drożdżowski`s little tunes (in 2004)
- "MIX" with Mikulski brothers compositions (In 2006)
- "W ogrodzie snów" - walzes from Mirosław Drożdżowski (In 2009)

Since 2003 he has been living and working in Jelenia Góra. He gives many concerts (as soloist, in duo and with philharmonic orchestra) and hes very active in the guitar education field at the same time.

In 2009 he became a member of the Grupa Semplice (www.semplice.pl), in which apart from him are Robert Wróblewski (accordion), Witold Pelc (clarinet) and Tomasz Pierzchniak (contrabass). The band performs the music of Astor Piazzola and Richard Galiano in their own arrangements.
